The West Midlands u14 Girls entertained Warwickshire chasing a second successive win which would ensure that they ended the year at the top of the Midland Federation League table. Warwickshire had also won their opening fixture but a goal from Daisie May, and another brace from Lucie Boden was to ultimately prove decisive.

West Midlands under 16 girls got their first Midland Counties Federation point of the season after their 1-1 draw away to Shropshire. This was another battling performance, which could have gone either way, but for long periods we looked capable of snatching our first victory once Sophie Rees had found the target. Many thanks to Shropshire for their generous hospitality.

West Midlands’ u14 Boys entertained Staffordshire in this ESFA Cup game at Castle Vale with a place in the last eight of the National cup competition at stake but we were eventually well beaten and our old rivals will now be at home to Hertfordshire in the Quarter Final.
