March 9th 2026. u16 Girls 2 Warwickshire 3
With the u16 title long since destined for Derbyshire there was only pride to play for at Castle Vale but both teams gave their all this evening in a tight end to end contest which produced five goals. January 12th 2026. u16 Girls 6 Shropshire 1
West Midlands u16 Girls hit top form to claim a thrilling 6-1 victory over Shropshire. Lukeema Robinson scored a fantastic hat trick but this was a great all round performance which really shows the true potential of this team. A brace of goals from Vakare Rubeziute and a lovely finish from Alice Branson also ensured that we cut the gap to Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Hopefully this can be the turning point of our season.

December 22nd 2025. u16 Girls 0 Derbyshire 1
West Midlands u16 Girls entertained Derbyshire hoping to build on the point which they had taken from their last outing against Shropshire but they found it very difficult to break down a fine side who were sitting at the top of the Midland Federation League with a hundred per cent record. Nevertheless our girls ran them extremely close, despite falling to a 1-0 defeat, and surely our first win can't be very far away.

November 24th 2025.u16 Girls 1 Shropshire 1
West Midlands under 16 girls got their first Midland Counties Federation point of the season after their 1-1 draw away to Shropshire. This was another battling performance, which could have gone either way, but for long periods we looked capable of snatching our first victory once Sophie Rees had found the target. Many thanks to Shropshire for their generous hospitality.
